Another rainy day. There isn't much to do in the port area, so I decided to take the subway to the city center. It was a 30-minute ride. I was seeking out the Art Museum because they have some really cool 1600s paintings from the Edo and Samurai times. It took me a while to find it, walking in crowds of people going in every direction. Once there, I was disappointed to find out that it was closed, even though the documentation said it would be open. It turns out they were getting ready for some big gala that evening. SIGH

So, what to do? I walked around and found some interesting shops. It was about two, so I figured it was past time for lunch and found a new Ramen place. I was sure it would be good because there was a line outside the door. It only took a few minutes before I had my soup and was enjoying it.

The rain started coming down harder, so I decided to head back to the ship. Not a very eventful day, but I'll be back here in five days, so maybe I'll get to see the museum after all.
