Get ready Japan/Korea- Here I come!

On May 31, 2025, I will be boarding a plane, filled with excitement and anticipation, as I embark on the beginning of a new adventure that promises to be both exhilarating and transformative. If you choose to follow along on this journey, you will have the opportunity to share in my around-the-world travel experiences, which will be filled with diverse cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable encounters.

My journey will kick off in Daytona Beach, Florida, a place known for its stunning sandy beaches and vibrant atmosphere. From there, I will make my way to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I plan to explore visit the airports Centurion Lounge before boading my fligh to Seattle, Washington, a city famous for its iconic Space Needle, thriving coffee culture, and stunning views of the Pacific Northwest. I look forward to wandering through the bustling Pike Place Market and perhaps taking a ferry ride to experience the beauty of the surrounding waters as I spend the night before my next flight.

Once I have experienced the wonders of Seattle, my travels will take me across the Pacific Ocean to Incheon, South Korea. This bustling metropolis is not only the gateway to the vibrant capital of Seoul but also a hub of culture and innovation. I am eager to immerse myself in the local customs, try authentic Korean cuisine, and explore the historical landmarks that tell the story of this fascinating country. Two nights there before embarking on the first of my two cruises.

After my time in South Korea, I will board the Norwegian Cruise Line Spirit, setting sail for Japan. This leg of my journey promises to be particularly exciting, as I will have the chance to experience the unique blend of traditional and modern culture that Japan is famous for. From the serene temples of Kyoto to the bustling streets of Tokyo, I am ready to embrace the beauty and complexity of this incredible nation.

Following my adventures in Japan, I will return to South Korea to delve deeper into its vibrant culture and perhaps revisit some of my favorite spots. Afterward, my travels will take me to Abu Dhabi, UAE, a city known for its stunning architecture, luxurious lifestyle, and rich heritage. I am particularly looking forward to visiting the Etihad world famous lounge in their airport. Four hours later, off to Boston!

Finally, after a thirteen hour flight, I arrive in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm spending the night, and will likely explore a city steeped in American history and home to some of the nation's most prestigious universities. I might walk the Freedom Trail, visit historical sites, and soak in the atmosphere of this storied city before making my way back to the hotel and a morning flight to Daytona Beach, Florida.

All told, my travels will span an incredible 29 days, during which I hope to capture the essence of each destination and share my experiences with those who choose to follow along. This journey is not just about the places I will visit but also about the personal growth and connections I will make along the way. I am excited to document my adventures and reflect on the lessons learned as I navigate this remarkable journey around the globe.
